Hooray for holidays! No school! No getting up early! No more study! :party: :p

However, during this holiday, I am going to be quite a busy bee. For the first week, I am doing some community service with PINARC (a society that helps people with disabilities). I think it's going to be a really worthwhile experience. I currently don't have plans to work in this field, but who knows???

My karate BLACK BELT grading is scheduled for the 24th of THIS MONTH. Holy crap... Sensei told us today that Karen and I will have to do at least 2 hrs of mild exercise a day to prepare for it, along with the usual classes. yikes. Karen and I have made plans to cycle around the lake and so on, but I'm not qiute sure if we'll be strong enough to stick to it. However, suprisingly already I'm off to a pretty good start. Today after 50 minutes at the dojo, I went jogging/sprinting/walking around the neighbourhood for 40 minutes. I only have 1/2 hr to go. :) I hope we'll be fit enough for the grading. It's going to be so hard. At Suz's black belt grading, she was crying so hard by the end of it that she could hardly keep her guard up.

On the last day of the holidays, I'll be participating in the Rural UniExperience at Melbourne Uni. I was selected (out of probably very few people. I bet everyone who applied for it was 'chosen'. but meh.). So anyway, we get to stay for a night at Ormond College, and do lots of activites about choosing the right course and career and stuff. On the first night we're doing a Trivia Night... which seems a bit odd. I don't know anyone else who's going there. I'm the only person I know who applied for it, so I'll probably not know anyone at all. :(
